Hello, my name is Sean Looney. I have lived most of my life in Texas and currently live in the Houston, TX area with my wife of nearly 20 years and two boys; 18 and 8.

 

Even before I graduated from high school in 1986, I had always worked in the home building and remodeling industry, which had always provided me with a stable income. At some point it got harder and harder to be competitive because the market was so saturated. You just couldn't make any money. 

Since I had not seen my parents in several years since they had moved, I decided to move to California to see what it would offer me. In late February of 1991 I flew to California.

Once in California finding a job was first priority. On a Monday in March, I had two interviews at two separate companies. The first was at a firm that installed and maintained fire suppression systems. They scheduled my physical and urinalysis, I got the job. Not wanting to take the first thing that came along, I went to the second interview. This company manufactured and installed and serviced automatic swimming pool safety covers. After the interview they asked me when I could start, I replied that Monday would be good as it would allow me time to get my tools together and get settled in. I contacted the other company and thanked them for their consideration.

For several years I traveled up and down the west coast doing installs and service on automatic pool covers. I even flew to other states to do work for jobs. After several years I became homesick. Seeing an opportunity for growth, my employer transferred me back home to Texas. For the next 11 or 12 years I flew on average, 150,000 miles a year, all over North America installing and servicing automatic swimming pool safety covers. Wanting to spend more time at home with my family and concentrate on a smaller market, I started my own installation and service company in early 2006.

 

I install and service all makes and models of automatic swimming pool safety covers. My market area is quiet large covering the majority of the Texas market with occasional trips into Oklahoma and Louisiana. Throughout my market I install 100+ new systems a year as well as maintain and service another 500+ existing customers on a as needed basis.
